Theory of the Crown-Priest and Oaks of Righteousness.
“Oaks of righteousness” is defined as trees of righteousness (pleasantly producing fruits of Godly taste). There are “the planting of the Lord, to display His glory”, (The Good News). When Jesus opened this passage again (Isaiah 61:1: Luke 4:18-19), He introduced Himself as the Messiah; the forerunner of the Gospel. He consciously stopped in the mid-sentence before getting to “the day of vengeance of our God”. Jesus really understands the prophecy of Isaiah 61 and make no mistakes thus not joining the two separate messages; “the year of the Lord’s favour, and, the day of vengeance of our God”, (Luke 4:18-19). The year of the Lord’s favour is the period of Jesus ministry expanding towards the time of His second coming; while, the day of vengeance of our God will take place at the latter time of His second coming.
